Milia removal

        Milia are skin cysts or spherical nodules, which usually occur in groups, mostly on the face (cheeks, temples, eyes) and in the genital area. It can be found at any age even in newborns and it typically develops in younger adults, either spontaneously or as a scar after the healing of a blistering skin diseases. Milia are harmless, but often cosmetically disturbing. They can be surgically removed or they can be removed by laser.

        There is no vital need to remove milia but if you want to do this, mainly due to aesthetic reasons there are a few exfoliating creams out there that you can use. But take not to make abuse of these creams and damage you skin. A dermabrasion treatment or fruit acid peel is recommended when the milia is beginning o look unpleasant.
